Digging out the old video gear
I want to do a video of my next woodworking project and I realized I haven’t shot video with anything but a cell phone in years. I dug though all the old gear and cobbled together a setup that should work better with a tripod etc…
Mostly this video was just a test of equipment and seeing what kind of color correcting and resolution tinkering I would have to do if I used both video from the DVcam and my phone. After editing etc it looks like the best I can produce is widescreen 480p video out of that camera… nothing great but unless you are watching it on a huge monitor it’s decent enough. Guess I need to to keep an eye on ebay to see if I can grab a camera capable of more modern video formats.
